Thank you (and yes, let’s do it all again)

Thank you (and yes, let’s do it all again)

Thank you.
Thank you for being excited with us in the run-up to EYF. Thank you for coming and sharing your enjoyment with us. Thank you for all your lovely comments after the weekend. Around 3500 of you made it to Edinburgh and we were thrilled to have every one of you at the Corn Exchange.

We still feel warm and fuzzy, but we also know that there are things that we have to improve for next time. Yes, we will do it again in 2016!

EYF 2016 will take place on 18th&19th March (this time a Friday & Saturday), again in the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, with our teaching programme starting on Thursday (17th).

If you’re thinking of booking travel/accommodation ahead, bear that in mind.  The date was chosen with the 6 Nations schedule in mind, in case you are wondering. Avoiding a Scotland home game at Murrayfield simply makes it much cheaper to stay in the city!

Relive EYF 2015
Have you seen all our images and the video footage of EYF? If you haven’t made it this year, take a look (warning: you are likely to make an impulse booking with the airline of your choice…).

Tell us what you think and help us shape the next EYF
Help us to make EYF even better by filling out this survey. As a little thank you for your time we will reward the first 5 submissions with our “Wool is Warmth” tote bag and draw another 5 random people after 30th April 2015. Shipping worldwide.

If you are subscribed to our mailing list already, then we will be in touch periodically to let you know when classes will go on sale and when ticket sales will start. If you’re not subscribed yet, you can do so here.We really hope to see you all again in 2016.
Until then, Happy Easter & much yarn and fibre fun!

A Special “Thank you"

Work on EYF 2016 has already started, but before we move on, we wanted to mention a few people who made the event extra special. Without the many volunteers an event like this would not have happened and we'd like to thank everybody who helped over the weekend and in the run-up. The teachers have delivered an outstanding programme and our only regret is that we were not able to take any classes ourselves.

Special thank you to KnitsonikYsolda, and Clara Parkes. Knitsonik ,aka Felicity Ford, came up with the brilliant CaBAA!ret concept and together with Ysolda they set a whole new standard with regards to sheepy pub-quiz challenges.

Thank you to Cathy Scott of Stitchmastery/Knitmastery for sponsoring the event and for being such a supporting super-star throughout the weekend! Also, your sheep hat was THE BEST.

See you all next year! 18th/19th March 2016

Clara Parkes: Thank you for coming, for adding that little sprinkle of fairy dust to all proceedings over the weekend and for writing this lovely review of EYF 2016.
It was such a pleasure meeting you!
