EYF2015: Open for Applications

We're ready for you now! Applications are open for exhibitor stands at EYF2015. We've got a much bigger venue this time round (Edinburgh Corn Exchange) with great facilities and a good vibe about it too. The workshop programme is coming together and there are other great things to be revealed in the coming months. We're aiming for another bright and stimulating marketplace, chock full of the things we know knitters, crocheters, spinners and general yarn freaks really love - not limited to yarn but including equipment and haberdashery and oh maybe <whisper> a bit of fabric…?

So, what will make our event unique? Apart from being held in a capital city with excellent transport links, we also want to enable the social aspect of knitting. There will be different break-out areas where knitters can have a proper coffee, a slice of cake, lunch and a good old chat. A separate evening event on the Saturday with a great programme is in the planning too, more info to come on that. If you've been to EYF 2013, you will remember the great vibe and that's what we're after again.

We can't wait for the application forms to come back to see just who and what we can bring together to make a Yarn Lovers' Dream Department Store here in Edinburgh. So if you are a yarnie, a haberdasher, or owner of any yarn-related business — or indeed any business which you feel would be a good fit for the marketplace — you can download our application form along with terms and conditions from the Exhibitors' Page in the menu above. Join our mailing list for details of how to access the form.

March seems like such a very long way away…but we are getting excited about EYF2015 already. A wave to everyone who is making travel plans, booking hotels and saving up for a great weekend of yarniness at the end of a long Scottish winter!
