Classes went on sale at 4pm UK time, Saturday 14th October - and many sold out very very quickly. If you'd like to be kept informed of spaces which open up because of returned tickets, please join our Returned Class Spaces mailing list. We will send an email to this list with links to spaces which have opened up. (Spaces are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.)
How do I buy a ticket?
Our ticketing site uses Paypal for ticket purchases, but please note that you do not need to open a Paypal account to buy tickets: you can also use a credit card via Paypal without setting up a new account.
Can I buy more than one class?
Of course, but classes must be bought and paid for one at a time and class tickets must be in the name of the person who will actually take the class. Please do not buy tickets in order to sell or pass on to others at a later date; names will be checked at the class venue.
The class I wanted is sold out. Where is the waiting list for that class?
We have an Returned Class Spaces mailing list, rather than individual waiting lists. We will send an email to the whole list if a class space is returned (before 15 January 2018; see Can I have a refund? below). We do not manage a waiting list and any spaces are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
When choosing a class, you'll be asked to enter an email address (twice): this is the one we use for communication with you about classes, so please make sure it's an account you check regularly! It doesn't need to be your Paypal account email address (if you have one).
Where is my ticket?
You will receive an e-ticket which you should print out and present at the venue. All instructions are included on the e-ticket. You won't receive a ticket in the post.
Can I have a refund?
Until 15 January 2018, we will offer a refund (minus a £25 admin charge). Beyond that date, we cannot give refunds. For a full explanation of our refund policy, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
Can I bring my baby/child to a class?
No. We aim for a learning environment free from distraction, and know that even the loveliest and best-behaved babes/children can break others' concentration. We appreciate your understanding.
I just want a festival admission ticket!
General festival only admission tickets for Thursday, Friday or Saturday will be available online from early 2018.
Tickets for Thursday will ONLY be available for advance purchase, i.e. tickets for Thursday CANNOT be bought at the door.
Tickets for Friday and Saturday can be purchased either online (early 2018) or on the door at EYF.
All tickets are limited and subject to availability.
Festival access without class-linked admission
The festival and marketplace will be open to festival-only admission ticket holders on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am.
We cannot accommodate group bookings.
If your request is about a missing email to confirm your ticket purchase, make sure you check your junk/spam folder for your ticket BEFORE contacting us (this is the first thing we will ask and it's the most common issue we've come across. It will save everybody time!).

Here are a few examples to illustrate some booking scenarios:
Multi-day class-linked festival admission is available for consecutive days (there is no option to buy a Thursday class with only Saturday admission and vice versa). Class-linked festival admission cannot be amended in terms of the chosen days once purchased. Separate general admission tickets to suit other needs will be available for purchase from early 2018.

We give as much information as we can now so you can make a decision in advance: What do I need to know to take the class? What do I need to bring with me? Is there any homework? Which building will I be in and how long does it take to walk there? (Check details of our three class venues here.)
Changes to pricing and marketplace access for 2018
To give more time and space to visitors in our festival venue, we are extending the marketplace to 3 days and are building a state-of-the-art marquee at the rear of the main venue: this will triple (!) our existing social space. Due to these improvements we need to change the ticket structure for both classes and general admission tickets. Class tickets will include some great benefits:
Why don't we just include general festival admission for all days, as in previous years?
We wish it were that simple, but the addition of an extra marketplace day paired with extending the social space we are providing simply means that these changes are necessary to run a successful EYF in 2018 and beyond.
