How've you all been?
We've just about recovered from EYF 2016 and we are already planning for EYF2017 for you! From our Ravelry group and various other social media channels we can see that loads of you have started to plan your visit for next year already, so we thought we'd provide you with a couple of key dates to so you can make decisions about accommodation and travel.
We've given our website's a wee bit of a spring clean too. Have a look here, especially if you'd like to see some of the great images and videos of past events.
The next Edinburgh Yarn Festival will take place over 2 days on 10th/11th March 2017 in the Edinburgh Corn Exchange. Once again we will offer workshops over 4 days (9th-12th March), a big party, a knit-night and other fringe events (details to be revealed later in the year)!
Release of the Class Schedule
The programme preview will be available from 7th October 2016, with the 50+ classes available for booking from 15th October 2016. Since you are subscribed to our newsletter, you wont miss any updates!
The Vendor List
EYF2017 will host a fantastic line-up of 100+ vendors, showcasing the very best yarns, tools and notions the industry has to offer. Our focus is firmly on UK suppliers with a few, hand-picked international vendors thrown in. High-quality suppliers for spinning, weaving and felting will of course be represented, but hand-knitting remains at the heart of EYF.
If you are a knitter, you will be in for a treat - that's for sure!
Want to be an Exhibitor?
You're best to subscribe to this dedicated vendor list if you want to receive the application information for EYF 2017. Information will be sent out in the next few days - don't miss it!
What else are we up to?
Apart from being knee-deep in planning for EYF2017, we are also working on another couple of exciting projects. Make sure you're subscribed to our visitor newsletter, so you can't miss the updates when we have news to share ;-)
We've joined the Indie Burgh Yarn Crawl last weekend and we took our DIY photo-booth along. Here a few pictures of the happy crawlers!
Until the next update, take care and happy knitting!
