In this class we look beyond the common uses of kitchener and think about how we can graft a wide variety of stitches including rib, cable and slipped stitches.
Level: Intermediate to advanced
Skills needed: A basic understanding of kitchener is advised, and knitters ideally should be confident with examining their knitting and thinking about how a stitch is structured.
Materials to bring: Waste yarn (ideally cotton), swatch yarn, needles to match swatch yarn, crochet hook, stitch holders and a tapestry needle or two. This is an intensive class and knitters may wish to bring whatever refreshments help them concentrate.
Any "homework"?: Swatches of stitches that knitters wish to graft. A selection of swatches with 2x2 rib, 1x1 rib and cables are suggested.
Class size: 22
