Tickets for this talk are not on sale yet: they will be available in early 2018.
Kate’s new book Handywoman is an autobiographical exploration of her own experiences of making, design and disability following her stroke in 2010. In this reading (and accompanying slide-show) Kate will introduce you to some of her book’s key themes, from childhood jumble sales in Lancashire, to the contemporary knitting community. There will be time for questions afterwards and Kate will be able to sign your books and bookplates.
Tickets for this one-hour talk will cost £15 and will be available at the same time as general admission tickets go on sale in early 2018. No reservations are possible. Ticket price does not include admission to the festival.
(This talk also takes place at 11.30am on Saturday 17th March.)
