Crochet a three-color Lato pattern with a thick cotton yarn using a single crochet stitch and an optical crochet technique. In the 3-hour workshop you will learn how to carry the yarns inside the stitch, how to change the color of the yarn and how to create a single crochet pattern with straight vertical lines.
The optical crochet technique is inspired by Latin American women from Wayuu tribe, who make the beautiful crocheted Mochila bags. After this workshop a student has the expertise to crochet different colorful patterns.
Skills needed: Basic crochet skills, how to hold several yarns in the hand while working, how to make a single crochet stitch.
