Garter stitch is enjoying a revival, and in this workshop we'll explore a number of specific techniques - picking up stitches, seaming garter stitch invisibly, best short rows methods, grafting garter stitch, working on the bias and multi-directional knitting, properties of gauge and more. The notes will also include one of the patterns from my new book, 'Painted Woolly Toppers', that uses a cluster of these techniques. This is a new workshop I am developing from techniques used in the book!
