In just over a week we will pack our bags and spend a week with Stitchmastery in Melrose to attend a knitting machine course in Galashiels - we are so excited about this! Until then though it's back to packing up all my craft stuff for at least a month for some major renovation works in our flat...😩
Sometimes we can't quite believe we live in this beautiful city❤
I may have a pouch addiction...super chuffed to have finally managed to get my hands on one of @woollyoriginals lovely zip-bags. Beautifully lined with @scottishlinen
Clearing out my office and found 3 balls of i-cord, 100g each...no idea what I was thinking! Before anybody asks, it was made with a wee gadget, not on needles ;-) What shall I do with it? It's very drapey and soft (alpaca silk mix)...help!
#tarmactuesday and here's a woolly tumbleweed @knitsonik 😂💭
Crossing the river Tay on the train takes around 3 minutes in real time! #trainknitting
Another WIP, but a rather secret one. What did we do before bulb safety pins? One of the best knitters' tools there is.
Had a little wander through my WIPs today and found this single Traquair Mitt from #wooltribe 2017 (pattern by the lovely @owlprintpanda ). Yarns are Blend No1 by @Ysolda and some @hedgehogfibres singles - love the simplicity of the structure and the contrast in the yarns. The stitch is super simple with just one little hack, so you aren't painstakingly remounting the stitches all the time. Must must must make mitt two!
It's #indieburghcraftcrawl2017 hot hot hot and Louise @knit_british IS WEARING WOOL! That's one dedicated wool-loving lady 🤗🔥🤗
