3 dimensional knitwear can be created in a variety of ways and utilizing many knitting techniques. Learn how to create this highly textured shawl and learn several new techniques and practice the ones you already know as well as discover numerous tips when you knit Kune-Kune Shawl or even customize it into a cowl.

Level: Advanced

Skills needed: knowing how to knit, purl, pick up the stitches, knit stitches together

Materials to bring: Yarn - 2160 yards of lace weight yarn (if held double stranded) OR 1080 yards of fingering or sport weight yarn (if held single stranded)
Needle: US 5 (3.75 mm) circular, 24-36”
Notions: Crochet Hook D (3.25 mm) or E (3.5) mm
Waste yarn in different color and similar weight to work
One double pointed needle, 1 or 2 sizes smaller than main needle
Tapestry needle
Kune-Kune Shawl pattern will be provided in print only
