This workshop explores a number of different elements, including provisional cast-on, short rows and grafting. We consider how knitting sideways can change our perspective! We'll start with demonstrating the techniques, and then work through a series of notes that allow us to explore the possibilities of knitting in different directions.
Skills focus: Short rows, kitchener stitch, provisional cast-on, increase & decrease methods.
Skills needed: Knowledge of increase and decrease techniques would be advisable, as well as basic stitch techniques.
Materials to bring: 100g of yarn and appropriate sized needles.
