So, you’ve come home with that “had to have” yarn but don't have a pattern for it? Or have just found this amazing pattern, but don’t seem to have the right yarn in your stash?
In this class, you will learn the steps to substitute the yarn in the pattern with yarn from your stash using some EASY mathematical steps. The teacher will be bringing some examples and students should bring a pattern they would like to knit and a yarn to use for the pattern (not the yarn specified in the pattern) and we'll apply the steps taught in this class. You also need to bring the needles required for the yarn and the needles one size up and down.
Skills needed: Students need to know how to cast on, knit and purl.
Materials to bring: Students should bring a pattern they would like to knit and a yarn to use for the pattern (not the yarn specified in the pattern), plus the needles required for the yarn and the needles one size up and down.
Any "homework"?: Finding a pattern and some yarn that don't 'fit' together.
