For spinners who want to improve their skills and techniques, on a spinning wheel or spindle. Whether you want to improve a spinning technique; understand and control the twist in spinning or plying; learn or improve different preparations - whatever the spinning query you need resolved - this class is for you. Tutor Elizabeth Johnston leads this class tailored for any level of student who wishes to improve their knowledge and ability. The class will deal with each spinning process the students wish to cover – fibre preparation; drafting long or short draw; twist; plying; to name a few.

Level: Any level beyond beginner

Skills needed: Must be able to spin

Materials to bring: Some fibre will be available, but bring a variety of fleece and fibre you prefer to spin, plus any new fibre you want to try. Spinning wheel or spindle; whatever you have of - hand cards, flick carder, combs; niddy noddy, lazy kate; oil; and a notebook
